Trenton Police, EMS Respond To Another Shooting

UPDATED: Trenton Police and EMS crews were called to the scene of a reported shooting Thursday afternoon in the South Ward.

Police were not immediately able to confirm initial reports of shots fired on the 600 block of Division Street about 2 p.m.

A man was transported to Capital Health trauma with a gunshot would to his leg, Peterson's Breaking News reported. The Mercer County (SRT) Shooting response team is investigating the shooting.

Trenton'Mayor W. Reed Gusciora called for a nightly curfew due to a recent spat of deadly shootings in the city.

The 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew came as authorities announced a third person died of injuries from a spattering of shootings on Palm Sunday.
